A Fashionista's Packing Essentials to Bali | Sam Tyra
These are the things you need to bring to Bali
Essentials guide:
1. Passport/ID
2. Cash/Credit Cards
3. Ticket or Boarding Pass
4. Keys to your house…and make sure your houses are locked before you leave
Now that we have all the essentials, let’s now move on to our Fashionista-checklist:
1. Day Outfits
If you are planning to go on a 3-day trip, make sure to bring 4 prechosen outfits. No harm in bringing an extra cute outfit. You never know when you might need it.
(Click here! If you want to checkout some of the outfits I wore to Bali)
2. Night Outfit
Just bring at least one nice outfit for a dinner. No need to be really fancy! Just a simple relaxed evening look would do.
3. Swimwear
Of course, it wouldn’t be a trip to Bali if you aren’t planning on going for a swim! Bring at least 1 bikini and 1 rash guard if you plan to go surfing.
4. Undergarments
Bring enough..
5. Flats
Sandals are your best friend in Bali, or beach-shoes. I would not recommend you wearing stilettos or even a wedge in Bali especially if you are planning to roam around the city and walk all day.
6. Sunglasses
Shades shades shades.. oh please bring. And for all the Fashionistas out there, there are actually a lot of affordable sunglasses we can find at bazaar’s. Sunglasses can instantly make you look like you have really planned for your outfit!
7. Bali Bag
If you don’t already own one you can buy one in Bali or you can visit my shop (click here) I only have a few pieces left so, make sure to check them out!
8. Accessories
- Straw hat
- Bracelets or body chains would look really cute as well
- Anklets (why not!)
- Earrings
Next items are toiletries which aren’t usually provided in the hotels
9. Sunblock or Sun Tan (your choice)
10. Dry Shampoo (only if you use this)
11. Chapstick
12. Deodorant
13. Lotion
14. Travel-size Perfume
15. Waterproof Makeup
16. Hair Ties
17. Hair Brush/Comb
18. Hand Sanitizer or Wipes
And of course,
19. Camera or Phone (and charger!)
20. Headphones (you also might need this especially on the plane)
Oh, bring vitamins as well or medications if you have any. Though we want to look pretty and cute in our trip, our health is still a priority. I hope this packing guide has helped you and enjoy on your trip to Bali!
