What’s in my Carry On | Travel Essentials | Sam Tyra

Whenever I travel, I usually put my everyday bag (sling bag/tote bag) inside the luggage and just use a backpack for all my necessities.

Today I’m going to show you what my travel essentials are and why I bring them!

1.     Wallet

First! My wallet, inside would be my ID, some cash and credit cards.

2.     Phone

Of course, my phone. I don’t usually bring the charger in my carry-on, I like to put it inside the luggage.

3.     Earphones

Next, my earphones, during the plane ride, I like to entertain myself with some music.

4.     Sunglasses

This is my go-to shades that I also always bring with me. I think it’s very easy to match with different outfits.

5.     Powder

I have here my face powder, I put it around my nose area to get rid of those shininess for a fresh look before deplaning.

6.     Lipstick

Another thing I do before deplaning is that I usually reapply my lipstick. I like to go for shades that are very close to my lip color for a more natural look.

7.     Travel-size Perfume

When I travel, I like to bring a travel-size perfume and I just leave the bigger ones at home. The big ones are heavier plus they’re beyond the allowable size for carry-on liquid items, so you have to put them in your luggage anyway.

8.     Sanitizer

If you’re like me who’s a bit of a clean-freak, then you can relate to this one. One thing that I hate whenever I go somewhere is forgetting about bringing a sanitizer or wipes! I just hate it when you accidentally touch something gooey and not having any sanitizers to wipe it off.

9.     Laptop

I also bring my laptop even if I’m travelling in case I have to submit a paper for school or write for my next blogs.

10.  Cap

I bring a cap in my carry-on especially if I am going somewhere pretty hot. I mean.. we gotta protect that face girls. I actually have 2 go-to caps, a white one and a black one. My cap is from SovereignPh  (link down below for their IG account). What’s nice about this cap is that I can change the patches depending on my mood or whichever patch design matches my outfit.

To show you guys what I’m talking about, here’s a photo of the cap! This is my black one and I have here 2 patches, a lion and an elephant. So, all I need to do is choose which one to wear and just 'patch' it up on the cap. It’s that easy!

As for my plane ticket, I just take a screenshot using my phone to save me the hassle of printing.

And that is what I put in my carry-on! I hope this helped you decide what to and what not to bring in your own carry-ons. Thanks for reading!
