City Government of Pagadian joins the National Culture for Commission and the Arts in Celebrating the National Heritage Month with the theme, Mga Kwentong Pamana

After a series of meetings together with the NCCA and LCAC, we have decided to feature one common tradition of our tri-people which is the HAND WEAVING. This tradition has already been passed through generations and generations and until now, this living tradition remains to be relevant in our society.

Although we are in the midst of crisis fighting this COVID19 pandemic, we have agreed that there is a need to participate in this celebration to show Pagadian’s support and drive to preserve our culture and heritage as we know that with the rapid advancement of technology and shifting towards modernity, there is this constant fear of losing ones tradition.

Since we could not create an event for everyone, instead we made a video output to showcase our HAND WEAVING tradition.
